Costarchem Nigeria Expands CSR, Donates Education Materials.
As part of the Costarchem Nigeria Corporate Social Responsibility initiative aimed at supporting the development of the education sector and furtherance key societal contributions, Nigeria’s leading construction chemical solutions manufacturer, Costarchem Nigeria has donated hundreds of education support materials to pupils of Sogunle Primary School, Ikeja Lagos.
The donation ceremony which was held on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, featured a Career and mentorship session by the Chairperson of the board, Mrs Bakare.
Extra activities included student interactions and engagements, underscoring the company’s belief in the transformational impact of education and its motivation to invest in the future of the Nigerian child.
In attendance also were the Executive Directors, Mr Anthony Ajulo and Mr Collins Ballogun.
Mr Anthony Ajulo in his welcome address reiterated just how nostalgic it was to be on the school grounds, listening to the children recite the national anthem. He further stated that “Costarchem, asides from being a profit entity is also dedicated to touching lives, which is part of our planned and ever-expanding CSR initiative, in furtherance of our determination to meaningfully contribute and enhance the visionary development of the community. The choice of impacting school children stems from the Company’s belief in empowering these pupils for academic excellence, which is not negotiable in nation-building and as such deserves the utmost priority”.
In her address to the journalists, the Marketing Manager, Mrs Irene Emike Ntiokiet further added that
“The company’s choice of school is not only to rekindle the hope and interest of Nigerians in public education but also to drive sustainable development which the company is committed towards.”

She further added that the donations are part of the company’s commitment to bringing about social change in communities of operation.
“By supporting education in Nigeria, we believe that Costarchem is creating lasting legacies that would not be forgotten in a hurry,” she said.
In response, the head teacher of the school, Mrs Ehirim Edith applauded the effort and recognition made by the company.
In her words, “we are happy to have you visit us and put a smile on the faces of the children. This gesture has given us a lot of hope and joy”. This donation is a CSR initiative that will see the company championing similar donations and contributions to society in order to ensure sustainability.
